Karlsruher fan Jakob Alberti has been on a world tour by bicycle since August 2024. His goal is to cycle to the World Cup in the USA. The 26-year-old started in Karlsruhe and has already covered over 25,000 kilometers through 27 countries on four continents. Jakob Alberti is an enthusiastic fan of Karlsruher SC and wears the jersey of his favorite club on his journey. His route took him from Austria to the Balkans, on to Turkey, the United Arab Emirates, India, Thailand, and Australia. In Thailand, he even had to camp at a gas station for a week because the roads to the hotels were no longer passable due to flooding. Despite these challenges, Jakob Alberti remained motivated and eventually reached Texas in the USA, just in time for the World Cup. On his journey, he met many people who welcomed and supported him. Jakob Alberti financed most of his trip himself and worked during his studies at Tilburg University in the Netherlands as a marketing and sales representative for an e-commerce startup. His journey is an impressive example of the passion and dedication of a Karlsruher fan.
