Karlsruher Founders Women's Football Team Valkyries. Tina Nagel takes over as team manager to organize and build the new team. The Valkyries are part of the Badener Greifs, one of the oldest teams in Germany. Nagel brings experience as a player and coach, including with the Bruchsal Rebels Ladies. The goal is to inspire women to play football and establish a competitive team. A first tryout will take place on February 7. Interested footballers can sign up and demonstrate their skills. Nagel explains that it's essential for the players to have fun and not put too much pressure on themselves. The Valkyries will participate in the Women's Development League South in the late fall and start playing nine-a-side football. Ultimately, they will have to see how the team develops and grows.
