During the Oberliga match between Karlsruher SC II and SSV Reutlingen, serious riots broke out on Saturday. Before the match kicked off at the amateur stadium in Wildpark, police reported that at least two KSC fans and one Reutlingen fan were injured. Additionally, a police officer sustained a hand injury. A total of 36 suspects were arrested. Around 150 Karlsruher fans gathered at the stadium and moved towards the guest parking area. There, about 50 partially masked KSC supporters breached the barriers. At the same time, approximately 150 Reutlingen fans surged from the guest section. This led to physical confrontations between the two fan groups and against the police. The police deployed mounted units to separate the rival factions and also used batons and pepper spray. Those arrested face charges of breach of the peace and bodily harm. The match in the Oberliga Baden-Württemberg on matchday 32 ended with a 1-4 defeat for KSC II against SSV Reutlingen.
