The Karlsruher SC has to say goodbye to another experienced player. Nicolai Rapp is moving within the 2. Bundesliga to Dynamo Dresden. The 29-year-old has been with the KSC since 2024 and has already played 211 games in the 2. Bundesliga. Rapp is moving to Dresden for free and is expected to fill the gap left by Kofi Amoako's move to Hamburger SV. Dynamo Dresden's sports director, Sören Gonther, is convinced that Rapp can provide the team with the necessary stability. Nicolai knows the league extremely well and can provide a team with his playing style the necessary stability and also offer important impulses for the game build-up, said Gonther. Rapp himself thanked the KSC fans for their support and is looking forward to the new challenge in Dresden. I have worn the KSC jersey for two and a half years with great pleasure, said Rapp. The Karlsruher SC now has to find a suitable replacement for Rapp to have a successful season. The KSC has already had to accept the departure of striker Fabian Schleusener, who moved to Fortuna Düsseldorf after five years. The KSC officials hope to present a new player soon who can fill the gap left by Rapp and Schleusener.
